1. Introduction
Career Agents LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to providing high-quality reverse recruiting services. This Refund Policy applies only to Reverse Recruiting Packages that include an Offer Guarantee and does not extend to other services, such as career coaching or consulting.
Upon purchasing a Reverse Recruiting Package, clients will receive a Service Agreement outlining the exact refund and guarantee details. The information provided here serves as a general guideline, but the terms in the Service Agreement will govern the refund process.
By purchasing a Reverse Recruiting Package, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.
2. Eligibility For Refunds
Refunds are only applicable under the following conditions:
- The client has purchased a package that includes the Offer Guarantee (for example, Pro or Executive, or any package explicitly labeled as “Offer Guaranteed”).
- The client does not receive a Qualifying Offer within seven (7) months from the first day Career Agents begins submitting applications on the client’s behalf (“Service Commencement Date”).
- The client meets the Client Responsibilities outlined in Section 3.
Qualifying Offer Definition
A “Qualifying Offer” means either:
- An offer that matches the client’s approved criteria (as defined and approved during kickoff), or
- Any offer the client accepts, even if it falls outside the approved criteria.
Refund Benefit (If Eligible)
If the refund conditions are met, the client may choose one of the following:
- A free service extension up to 4 additional months, or
- A 50% refund of the refundable portion of the package (see Section 5).
3. Client Responsibilities (Required For Refund Eligibility)
To remain eligible for the Offer Guarantee and any refund or extension, the client must:
- Remain Timely Responsive: Reply to requests for approvals, questions, interview scheduling, and role targeting in a timely manner (for example, within 3 business days, unless otherwise agreed).
- Show Up To Interviews: Attend scheduled interviews, or reschedule with reasonable notice. Repeated no-shows or avoidable cancellations may void eligibility.
- Participate In The Process: Cooperate with Career Agents in job targeting, application strategy, and required information requests.
- Keep Information Accurate: Ensure resume, LinkedIn profile, and job search materials remain accurate and up to date, including employment dates, titles, and compensation expectations.
If the client becomes unresponsive for an extended period or repeatedly misses interviews, Career Agents may pause services, and the guarantee timeline may be adjusted accordingly, consistent with the Service Agreement.
4. Refund Request Process
To request a refund under this policy, the client must:
- Submit a written request to [email protected] with the subject line:
“Refund Request – Reverse Recruiting Package” - Provide supporting documentation, including:
- Proof of application activity via the interactive dashboard,
- Evidence of timely responsiveness during the service period,
- Evidence of interview attendance (or appropriate rescheduling), and
- Confirmation that no Qualifying Offer was received within the 7-month guarantee period
- Allow up to 30 days for review and processing.
- If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 15 business days.
5. Non-Refundable Services
The following services are non-refundable under any circumstances, once delivered:
- Resume creation and revisions
- Cover letter creation and customization
- LinkedIn profile optimization
- Any branding-only package components delivered (for example, Starter/Branding packages without applications)
Only the remaining portion of the package (the reverse recruiting service component) may be eligible for the refund benefit described in Section 2.
6. Exceptions & Disputes
Career Agents LLC reserves the right to deny a refund request if:
- The client did not actively participate in the job search process
- The client was repeatedly unresponsive or failed to communicate in a timely manner
- The client missed interviews without reasonable notice or repeatedly declined to interview without a valid reason
- The client withdrew from the service before the 7-month period ended
- The client received at least one (1) Qualifying Offer within the guarantee timeframe
- Any fraudulent claims or misrepresentations are detected
All disputes regarding refunds shall be resolved in accordance with the Governing Law outlined in our Terms of Service.
7. Changes To This Policy
Career Agents LLC reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
